Training Tips

· Warm up before you drop the hammer. Taking off to fast can result in early fatigue, pulled muscles and even sore joints. Take a little longer to warm up on colder rides.

· Know your bike before you ride. For those of that have trainers, use them. Pay attention to shifting and braking. Listen for loose or warn parts. Now is the time to replace them so that you won’t have to worry about them during the peak season.

· Dress for the weather. I usually try to dress for what I will feel like during the ride not before the ride. Where clothing that is easy to shed. Arm Warmers, Leg Warmers, Zip off sleeves.
